Celebrating Women's History Month at Felician University
March 13th: “She Persists: A Century of Women Artists” Museum Exhibit Tour. Students will have the opportunity to explore this exhibit, whichhonors women who have struggled and succeeded, while celebrating the 100thanniversary of suffrage and female artists with roots and connections to New York City. Tickets will be free for students who sign up via the Eventbrite link listed below. Students will leave campus around 9:30 A.M. for their 10:30 tour slot and enjoy lunch in the city afterwards with Dr. Gray, the VP for Student Affairs.
March 26th: We will be hosting Women’s History Speaker Ms. Dayo Adiatu. Dayo Adiatu is the Community Manager at Launch Pad Newark. Dayo has more than 10 years of experience in business and technology with expertise in strategic planning, management, community building, community management, law, and online marketing. She is passionate about bringing together entrepreneurs through a combination of online communities and in person events. She has experience building new communities and managing existing communities with a particular emphasis on women and minorities. She will be speaking at 6 P.M. in Education Commons 103 “Ray’s Place.” All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join.
March 27th: Share HERstory. This will be a chance for our students to fill out a female face silhouette with their stories. These silhouettes will be displayed in the Rutherford Dining Hall until the end of the month. The table will be in the Rutherford Dining Hall from 11:30 A.M.-1:30 P.M. collecting stories.
