Foundations and Grants Officer
Felician University is presently seeking a dynamic, experienced advancement professional to serve as the Foundations and Grants Officer. Reporting to the Interim Vice President for University Advancement, the Foundations and Grants Officer strategically seeks out and secures funding opportunities that align will the University’s mission and strategic goals. S/he is responsible for the planning and execution of a successful grant funding program designed to support institutional needs in accordance with a dynamic and changing educational environment.
Minimum three years of proven successful grant writing experience, preferably in higher education or fundraising; or a combination of education and relevant experience; demonstrated proficiency in the utilization of internal grant tracking reports and calendars; superior verbal and written communications skills; ability to achieve goals effectively and efficiently, working through both formal and informal channels; ability to engage and work collaboratively with diverse groups, including but not limited to senior administrators, deans, faculty, staff, students, vendors and volunteers; superior time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks of varying priorities; valid N.J. driver’s license; willingness and availability to work flex hours, including evenings and weekends as needed; proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience in utilizing Raiser’s Edge preferred.
