FACULTY, NATURAL SCIENCES
Felician University is currently seeking a full-time Natural Sciences faculty to join an energetic campus community and distinguished School of Arts & Sciences faculty whose excellence is reflected in our University’s mission, diversity, and commitment to student success. The ideal candidate will have significant undergraduate teaching experience in Biology. Expertise and teaching experience in Genetics and Immunology would be especially helpful.
Candidates must have an earned doctorate in Biological Sciences and will be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor. Successful candidates are expected to teach a minimum of 12 credit-hours per semester and mentor student research and/or engage in research with students, be actively involved in peer-reviewed research or equivalent activity, and provide service to the University, the community, and the profession.
New faculty members will be connected with a faculty mentor who will provide guidance on issues pertaining to classroom instruction, advising students, assessment, curriculum, and course development.
Teaching experience in an undergraduate baccalaureate science program.
