Associate Registrar

Felician University is presently seeking an innovative, detail-oriented, student-focused and goal-oriented professional to serve as the Associate Registrar at Felician University.  Reporting to the Registrar, the Associate Registrar oversees the operation of the records office, including but not limited to: management of student records, official and unofficial transcripts, grade petitions, graduation process, monitoring academic guidelines, degree audit reporting system, and related matters.  S/he ensures compliance with the Family Rights and Privacy Act and all other applicable laws and regulations.  The Associate Registrar serves as the primary authority in evaluation and conferral of degrees for the University.  S/he is responsible for creating, enhancing and supervising an efficient, effective environment for addressing the needs of students, faculty, administration and others requiring the services of the Office of the Registrar.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities described; computer expertise with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Internet and email (Outlook), experience with Ellucian’s Colleague preferred; excellent written and verbal communications skills; superior organizational and problem-solving skills; comprehensive knowledge of accreditation and certification requirements and standards; proven ability to gather data, compile information and prepare reports; proven skill in examining and re-engineering operations, processes and procedures to meet customer needs, as well as developing and implementing new strategies; ability to establish collaborative relationships with a broad constituency of internal and external stakeholders; ability to engage effectively with diverse audiences, including staff, faculty, prospective students and current students; high degree of personal motivation, self-management and detail-orientation; ability to autonomously multi-task and prioritize workflow; ability to use independent judgment and to manage and impart confidential information; commitment to supporting the Franciscan/ Catholic mission of the University.
