Bachelor of Business Analytics Degree

Felician University’s Bachelor of Business Analytics program helps students gain the quantitative, analytical, and presentation skills required to solve business problems, create new business opportunities and support an organization’s latest innovations. Business intelligence and analytics, or big data, have become top priorities for companies of all types and sizes, creating an abundance of opportunities for highly-skilled and well-trained professionals to work within this growing field.

We create 2.5 quintillion bytes of data every day. Did you know that 90% of the data in the world today is from the last two years? Every time you download an app, post to social media or use your cell phone GPS, you are participating in the giving and receiving of big data. The role of a business analyst is to mine data and generate insights to drive strategic planning in an efficient and ethical way.

In our Business Analytics program, students learn from real-world situations that prepare them for successful careers. Classes in this major include Introduction to Big Data and Data Mining, Data Structures and Algorithms, and Business Law. Students work on case studies individually and in teams, making class presentations and completing written assignments to strengthen their communication skills. Upon completion of the degree, students enter the workforce skilled in:
  • Data analytics
  • Predictive modeling
  • Data-driven business decision-making
