Felician University is honored to welcome Sister Helen Prejean — internationally recognized human rights advocate and author of Dead Man Walking — to campus on March 16, 2026.
After answering a spiritual calling in 1982, Sister Helen began serving as a spiritual advisor to individuals on death row. That experience sparked nearly four decades of advocacy, challenging our country to think differently about justice, accountability, and the dignity of every human life.
Her visit will be a powerful day of reflection, conversation, and meaningful dialogue across our campus community. The evening will conclude with a public lecture and book signing from 5 PM to 8 PM on our Rutherford campus. The event is open to the public, and registration is encouraged.
