We’ve built our reputation with an emphasis on service and respect for humanity, as was the dream of Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska – the foundress of the Felician Sisters more than a century ago. Imagine having the opportunity to experience your future career before you even start college. 🩺
This summer, 19 local high school students did just that as Felician University launched its inaugural Nursing Immersion program as part of the University’s new Summer Academy. Over two weeks, students stepped into the world of nursing through hands-on simulations, CPR certification, Stop the Bleed training, career exploration, and conversations with nursing professionals and current Felician students.
The experience gave students a firsthand look at what a future in nursing could hold, and we were proud to welcome them to Felician as they took their first steps toward a career in healthcare! 👏
