Chiropractic

The Chiropractic Program is an articulated program coordinated with the New York Chiropractic Collegeproviding a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Felician and a Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from New York Chiropractic College.

Chiropractic focuses upon the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of disorders of the neuromusculoskeletal system, and explores the effects these disorders have on the nervous system and on health in general. One of the fastest-growing health professions, chiropractic increasingly finds itself managing patient care through collaborative partnerships with other essential health care professionals.

Students in the chiropractic program spend about three years at Felician College completing 100 credits in the pre-professional component (47 credits in the General Education and Core curriculum and 53 credits in the required pre-professional Core). Students must apply for admission for their professional coursework at the New York Chiropractic College. Applicants must have a 3.100 GPA. Upon successful completion of their first year of courses at NYCC, Felician College will award the Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Upon completion of the remainder of the required coursework (approximately two years) NYCC will award the degree of Doctor of Chiropractic (DC).

All students must:
1. Maintain a minimum overall GPA of 3.100 and a minimum grade of “C” in all math and science courses;
