| Search for the Fifth President of Felician College |
After leading Felician College for an unprecedented 27 years, Sister Theresa Mary Martin has announced
that she will step down as President.
Felician has made many momentous strides since 1984 when Sr. Theresa became the College’s fourth President. At that time, the school was a four-year institution with only 450 students, all female.
Approximately 275 of these were studying toward associate degrees in nursing. Today, Felician is
a four-year, co-ed college with more than 2,300 students, offering undergraduate and graduate programs ranging from teacher education, liberal arts, and nursing, to a Master’s in Business Administration and Doctorate of Nursing Practice.
With a mission to provide a values-oriented education based in the liberal arts, Felician College prepares students for meaningful lives and careers in today's global marketplace.
