UPDATE: MESSAGE FROM PRESIDENT PRISCO
Dear Felician Community,
We are blessed that the College sustained minimal damage from Hurricane Sandy and that we had power on both the Lodi and Rutherford campuses. However, so many of our fellow students, staff and faculty members are still reeling from the effects of this devastating storm.
As a Franciscan community, it is our mission to help one another and offer assistance to those who are struggling.
We will be collecting donations of non-perishable food items, personal hygiene items and cleaning supplies on both campuses beginning on Wednesday.
Here is a list of some items to donate:
Canned soups and meals
Soap, toothpaste, shampoo
Crackers, granola bars, dry cereal
Paper goods, garbage bags
Anyone in the Felician community who needs help will have access to these items; we will also be putting together a team of volunteers to drop off items at area shelters and organizations that can also use our help. Monetary donations will also be accepted in the Office of the Bursar (Lodi) and in the Administrative Office in Martin Hall (Rutherford) between 9 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. beginning Wednesday.
* Campus Ministry will be available from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for members of the Felician community who may need spiritual guidance or a friendly face to speak with during this crisis. The locations are as follows:
Lodi campus, Obal Hall, ground floor near Harmony Hall
Rutherford campus, Student Center Bldg.
* Counseling Center on the Rutherford Campus (Student Center Bldg.) hours are as follows:
Mon., Tues., Wed., Fri. 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Thurs. 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Please everyone stay safe and keep each other in our thoughts and prayers.
Peace and all good.
Dr. Anne Prisco
President, Felician College
