Felician College to Host 19th Annual
Founder’s Day Dinner Dance for Student Scholarships

Lodi and Rutherford, NJ - Felician College will host the 19th Annual Founder’s Day Dinner Dance for student scholarships on Thursday, May 3rd, at the Sheraton Meadowlands Hotel in East Rutherford, NJ. The black-tie optional event begins at 6 p.m. followed by dinner and dancing at 7:30 p.m.  Ticket price is $450. Reservations may be made by calling 201-559-3314.

Proceeds from the dinner will benefit the school’s Student Scholarship Fund and the New Jersey Food Council Scholarship Fund at Felician College, which provides an annual full-tuition, four-year academic scholarship to a food industry employee or member of an employee’s immediate family. Dinner Dance Chairman Dennis Daniels says he predicts that this year’s event will top the $340,000 raised for scholarships last year.  Daniels, who serves as a Felician College trustee and Council of Regents member, is Vice President of Wakefern Food Corporation.

The winner of the 2000 New Jersey Food Council Scholarship was junior, Krystyna Kalan, an honors scholar from Bloomfield, NJ.  Krystyna is a dual major, majoring in Elementary Education and English.
