Felician College Business Review Awarded Gift by the NJ Chapter of the National Association of Purchasing Managers 

Lodi and Rutherford, NJ---Mr. Raymond Clayton, two-time past president of the New Jersey Chapter of the National Association of Purchasing Managers (NJ-NAPM), visited Felician College on March 12 to present a gift of $300 from the NJ-NAPM to The Felician College Business Review, a biennial journal sponsored by the Felician College chapter of Sigma Beta Delta, a national Business honor society.   The NJ-NAPM gift is intended to help fund publication of The Felician College Business Review, a journal with a mission to serve as an outlet for the publication of “empirical, theoretical, and scholarly manuscripts related to various business disciplines” written by Felician College students.           

A member of the Felician College Business Advisory Council, Clayton presented the check to Dr. William Morgan, Associate Professor of Business of Felician College and Managing Editor of The Felician College Business Review, at a ceremony attended by Dr. Gerard O’Sullivan, Dean of the Division of Arts and Sciences; Professor Beth Castiglia, Business Department Chair and; Business Professors Dennis Huzey and Robert Shore.  In recognition of Clayton’s valued work and contribution to the Business Review, Morgan presented Clayton with a certificate of appreciation. 

Clayton’s career accomplishments include positions as a purchasing executive with the Bell System and AT&T Bell Laboratories and as Director of the Bloomfield College Materials Management Institute.  He holds B.S. and M.B.A. degrees in Industrial Management from New York University. 

The National Association of Purchasing Managers of New Jersey is part of the Institute for Supply Management (formerly the National Association of Purchasing Managers), whose membership includes purchasing practitioners and anyone interested in purchasing and supply management, including students who may join the organization for free.  Members participate in the activities of local chapters and receive the NJ-NAPM newsletter and the Institute's magazine, Inside Supply Management.  An additional benefit of membership is access to the Institute's website (www.napm.org) where articles from the prestigious Journal of Supply Chain Management are archived.
