Assembly Majority Leader Paul DiGaetano to Offer Career Insight to Political Science Students at Felician College 

Rutherford and Lodi, NJ – His political career, how he got into politics and what he considers important political issues in New Jersey will be up for discussion as Assembly Majority Leader Paul DiGaetano comes to Felician College to address an introductory political science class.  A lecture followed by a question and answer period will take place on Thursday, April 5, 2001, from 8:15 – 9:30 a.m. on the Rutherford Campus of Felician College, 223 Montross Avenue, Becton Hall, Room 104.  The lecture is free and open to the public. 

Assembly Majority Leader DiGaetano represents the 36th Legislative District, which includes parts of Bergen, Essex and Passaic Counties.  Currently serving his sixth term in the General Assembly, DiGaetano has been elected by his colleagues the last three terms as Assembly Majority Leader.  DiGaetano has served as chairman of the Assembly Policy and Rules Committee, and as the chairman of both the Assembly Task Force on Adolescent Violence and the Regulatory Oversight Subcommittee on Automobile Insurance. In addition to his chairmanship responsibilities, DiGaetano serves as a member of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Commission, the Legislative Services Commission, and the New Jersey Commission on Science and Technology.
