NCAA Division 2 Athletic Directors Honor 22 Felician Student-Athletes

Twenty-two Felician College student-athletes have been named winners of the Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2ADA) Academic Achievement Awards. The Academic Achievement Awards is a program that recognizes accomplishments of student-athletes at the NCAA Division 2 level.

In order to be recognized, recipients must have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.50 or higher, have attended college for at least four semesters, and have been an active member of an intercollegiate athletic team during his/her last academic year.

Felician’s women’s soccer team led the way with six honorees. Four other sports claimed three winners each. Here are the recipients:

WOMEN’S SOCCER – Alysia Arcona (Elementary Education), Allie Couzo (Pre-Physical Therapy), Emily Gleason (Management), Jenn Hesse (Criminal Justice), Jen Jimenez (Accounting), JoJo Pisani (Nursing)

VOLLEYBALL – Ashlee DiSalvo (Mathematics), Gabby Migliore (Music Education/Math), Ann Scherer (Business Admininstration)

MEN’S CROSS COUNTRY – Rob Albano (Elementary Education), Tim Kicha (Criminal Justice)

MEN’S BASKETBALL –Jimmy Schmitt (Math Education)

BASEBALL – Anthony Abbato (Communications), Joe Petosa (Accounting), Mickey Zudonyi (Marketing)

SOFTBALL – Tori Bradburn (Political Science), Kelsi Ludwigsen (Pre-Med), Halei Van Dyke (Special Education)

GOLF -- Anthony Bizien (History/Philosophy)
