Felician Will Hold an Interfaith Prayer Service Today at 12:30 p.m. to Observe U.N. International Day of Peace

The United Nations has called for an International Day of Peace asking people around the world to put an end to hostilities and to find peaceful solutions to their conflicts.

Felician College is observing this call by the U.N. with its inaugural Day of Peace. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 19 at 12:30 p.m. in the lobby of Obal Hall on the Lodi campus, 262 South Main Street,  and will feature prayer and readings from the Qur’an and Hebrew scriptures by students and faculty of different faiths.

Felician College is one of the few colleges in the world to be granted Non-Governmental Organization status at the United Nations. Through Felician’s U.N. Fellowship Program, students gain unprecedented access to attend U.N. conferences and meet politicians, diplomats and ambassadors from around the world.
