Organizations and Clubs

Angelicum (Religion) Club for those who enjoy informal conversation and discussion about diverse topics of religious and spiritual nature.  The members host and attend guest presentations.

Aspiring Authors Literary Club … for those interested in composing literary works.  This club holds campus poetry readings and also produces a yearly literary journal.

Business Club … students who have an interest in business and economics.  Club activities include, speakers, workshops, films, mock stock portfolios and other yearly projects.

Campus Ministry … a team that coordinates opportunities to learn and practice the Catholic faith in the spirit of the Franciscan tradition.

Chess Club … for those who know how to play chess, and those who always wanted to learn how.  These students take part in informal games and tournaments throughout the year.  So if you always wanted to learn, here is your chance!

Club President’s Board … this board is made up of all club presidents and is designed to improve and promote circular involvement and student leadership.

Drama Club … for those interested in exploring the dramatic arts which presents production during the year.

Education Club … designed to promote educational activities on the Felician College Campus and in the community.

Falcon’s Eye Student Journal … a yearly publication of literary and artistic works from the college community.

Felician Studies Abroad … an annual trip to an European country.

Fraternity … a male student group whose main purpose is to instill strong bonds of friendship and to maintain an ongoing service program to the community as well as to the college.  The fraternity on campus is Sigma Phi Omega.

History and Social Sciences Club … explores historical, sociological and international topics thru significant films of the times, sponsor various intercultural field trips.

Honors Student Association … students meet monthly for informal conversation on different topics related to the Honors Program.  The group is active in service learning and membership is not limited to honors students.

International Cultural Club … promotes a better understanding of various cultures.

Mendel Science Club … open to students who are interested in expanding their knowledge of science or science-related topics thru lectures, field trips with a special interest in preserving the environment.

Mu theta (Nursing Honor Society) … a chapter of Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.  This society recognizes superior achievement, leadership qualities, fosters high professional standards, encourages creative work and commitment to the ideals and purposes of the profession.


Peer Supporters Group … upperclassmen who assist new students with their transition to college life.  Students are either chosen by the administration or volunteer, and are required to participate in a training session.  Members are selected by the Vice President for Student Affairs.

Registered Nurses Organization (RNO) … an organization of registered nurses involved in supporting one another to promote personal and professional growth.


RCIA … members of Felician Community who desire to become a Catholic through Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist, or to study the Catholic Faith further.  They will be engaged in a catechetical and liturgical process.

Service Learning Club … students who initiate community activities, who take a class involved in service leaning, or those who like to volunteer their time for others.

Student Government Organization (SGO) … every Felician student is a member.  Organization promotes initiative, leadership, and provides effective means of communication between student, faculty, and administration.

Students in Free Enterprise … organization of students whose purpose is to create an atmosphere of cooperation, creativity, competition, and awareness of the free enterprise system; and to provide a vehicle to build rapport among the many academic, media, and business constituencies.

Student Nurses Organization (SNO) … a local chapter of the New Jersey Student Nurses Association involved in supporting one another, and in developing leadership skills.


Tech-Knows Computer Club … for those interested in expanding their knowledge about the ever changing world of computer hardware and software.


United Latino Club … provides a line of communication between the students and its community and helps foster a new level of respect for the ethnic diversity of fellow students.

Professional Organizations

Students in the Education programs have the opportunity to join the STUDENT NATIONAL EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (SNEA).  In doing so, they also become members of the NEW JERSEY EDUCATION ASSOCIATION (NJEA).   

ADN students are encouraged to join the NEW JERSEY NURSING STUDENTS (NJNS).  The organization aims to promote an interest in the problems and needs of the nursing profession.  

BSN students are encouraged to join the AMERICAN NURSES’ ASSOCIATION, the professional organization for registered nurses.

The Medical Laboratory Technology students are encouraged to become members of the AMERICAN SOCIETY OF MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY (ASMT).  In doing so, they automatically become members of the NJSMT.  This membership gives each student the opportunity to participate in seminars and to keep informed about the latest technological advancements.
