Felician College's athletic philosophy emphasizes the development of the
total person; the student as well as the athlete. It is essential that all student-athletes be provided the
direction, assistance, and guidance needed to reach their goals in all areas of college life: Academic,
Athletic, Spiritual, and Social. Student-Athletes are urged to focus on the incentives, knowledge and skills
essential to attaining their full potential. The Athletic Program seeks to help each participant understand
the close correlation between sports and life, toward the ultimate goal of encouraging a well adjusted
contributing member of the college and the larger society.
Felician offers 10 varsity intercollegiate sports that compete at the NCAA Division II level:
men's and women's basketball, cross-country, and soccer; baseball and softball; men's golf and women's
volleyball. The department of athletics also sponsors a cheerleading/dance team. Athletic scholarships for
qualified student-athletes are available. The Golden Falcons are members of the Central Atlantic Collegiate
Conference (CACC) and the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC).
Both the Lodi and Rutherford campuses have weight room/fitness centers which are staffed by
athletics department personnel and open to the entire campus community. The Joal and Joseph Job Gymnasium on the
Rutherford campus is also available for recreation during selected hours.
