Welcome to Felician College

Bachelor of Science in Nursing Earned Doctorate Accelerated Cohort

Felician College offers an accelerated program of study designed for individuals with an earned doctorate who wish to become nurse practitioners.  To meet the working professional’s lifestyle, the Department of Professional Nursing has reconfigured its outstanding Adult Nurse Practitioner Track curriculum into an accelerated format with multiple distance learning courses. This accelerated program is designed in ten week quarters and can be completed in twelve quarters after the completion of four prerequisite science courses. The accelerated courses are offered at our Lodi campus on Fridays through the academic calendar year.  Undergraduate clinical experiences are also offered on Fridays.  Students may arrange for nurse practitioner precepted clinical experiences at their own convenience at the graduate level.

Learners will receive credit for the general education component of the MSN curriculum and will enroll in undergraduate and graduate level nursing courses to fulfill the requirements for the Master of Science in Nursing degree specializing in primary health care of the adult.  At the end of the program, the cohort learner will be eligible to sit for the National Council of State Board of Nursing Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses and the national certification examination for adult nurse practitioners.
