BSN Curriculum Track?
The BSN Curriculum Track is an
educational option within the MSN Program. It gives Registered
Nurses the opportunity to earn a Bachelors Degree in Nursing
when BSN curriculum requirements have been met. It is not a
requirement, however, for the Master of Science Degree in
Nursing at Felician College.
How do I apply for the BSN
Curriculum Track?
You may select the track
leading to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing Degree at
any time after acceptance into the MSN
program. In order to do this, you must fill out the
BSN Track Request Form.
This form may be obtained
from Omar Novarro, Room 203 (Main College Building) or from the
Registrars Office. It will be available as of June 1.
Is this option available to
current MSN students?
Yes. If you are currently
matriculated in the MSN program at any level (Pre-MSN, Bridge or
Graduate), you may select the BSN Track by filling out the
BSN Track Request Form. .
What are the requirements for
earning the Bachelors Degree in Nursing?
In addition to the current
undergraduate requirements of the MSN program, students must
take the following 6 credits of coursework: NU 499 Independent
Study (3 undergraduate credits) and NU 550 Ethical/Legal
Dimensions of Nursing (3 graduate credits).
