FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY EDUCATION STUDENTS

 When does the semester start and/or conclude? 

 

Answer: Check Felician's web page, www.felician.edu and click on calendar.

   

 
What do I need to be admitted to class on the first day of the semester? 
  Answer: You need to obtain a "pink admit slip" from the Registrar's Office, Main College Building, Lodi.  (201-559-6038)
   
Where do my classes meet?
  Answer:  Education classes may meet on the Rutherford or Lodi campus. For specific room assignments, check the "Room Assignment" list posted outside of the Registrar's Office, Main College Building in Lodi, or in the main lobby of Becton Hall in Rutherford. Classroom assignments are also listed in the registration brochure.
   
Where do I purchase my textbooks?
  Answer:  Purchase textbooks and other supplies at the College Bookstore, Main College Building, Lodi.  (201-559-6027)
   
How do I contact my professors? 
  Answer:  Check Felician's web page, www.felician.edu and locate the Faculty and Staff Directory. Your professor will also give you that information at your first class.
   
Does the Rutherford campus have a cafeteria?
  Answer: Yes, it is located underneath the gymnasium and hours vary. 
   
Where do I park?
  Answer:  First, obtain a parking decal from the Student Government Office located on the lower level Main College Building, Lodi. (201-559-6029) Then you may park in the lot on the west side of Montross Avenue.
   
How do I register for my classes? 
  Answer:  Check the Felician web page, www.felician.edu and click on course schedule. Decide what courses you need to take by checking your control sheet, and e-mail or call your advisor for an appointment. Control sheets are found on the Division of Education's web site under Department Forms. Click on the College calendar for advance registration dates.

TEC students who have been initially advised for their first semester, may register for later semesters using a form under Department Forms on the Division's web site. These forms can be attached to an email or faxed in to the office at 201-559-3604 to the attention of Annette Rycharski. Or you may call the Placement Office at 201-559-3546 and register over the phone.

   
Where is the College Library? 
  Answer:  The Main Library is located on the Lodi Campus. (201-559-6071)  Visit the Library's web page on www.felician.edu for links to on-line resources. The Teacher Education's Curriculum Materials Center is located on the Rutherford Campus in the lower level of Blessed Mary Angela Hall. 
   
Where can I find more information about the Education program? 
  Answer:  Check the Division's web site under Academic Programs, Faculty and Courses, or Resources. www.felician.edu/academics/division/ed/
