The primary function of the Felician College Library is to serve the students, faculty, and staff of our institution, which is located approximately eight miles west of Manhattan.  The Library is located on the Lodi campus of the College.

The Felician College Library has approximately 110,000 books and provides a vast array of online resources, including the full text of over 15,000 periodicals.  Material we do not own can usually be obtained from other libraries fairly quickly.

The Library Handbook serves as a general guide to the Library and its use. Members of the faculty can obtain a copy of the Faculty Guide to the Library.  Our periodically issued Guide to the Online Resources of the Felician College Library provides instruction in the use of our online resources.  The Library has also produced numerous pamphlets dealing with specific areas of research, such as How to Find a Periodical Article. Ask the Public Services Librarian or the individual at the Circulation Desk to obtain these items.

The computers on the main floor  of the Library are for research.  The large Computer Lab in the basement may be used for research, word processing, or email.

This Web page (1) serves as an introduction and a gateway to our online services, most of which can be accessed remotely, (2) provides links to various search engines, and (3) lists some of our recent book acquisitions.  In addition, it serves as an entryway to the opening site of our online book catalog (powered by SIRSI software) which also provides links to our Reserve Collection, student and faculty accounts, and a list of our print journals.  Complete lists of our online and print journals, as well as our microforms, are also available.
